Before and After

Wix to WordPress Migration
The previous website was built on Wix so the main objective here was to bring all pages and funcationality into a WordPress platform.
Wix websites have their space in online businesses. However, for many SMEs, an advance WordPress platform can provide more advantages with its additional plugins and easier staff usability. Reasons why WordPress websites are often considered better than Wix websites are particularly for users who require greater control, customization, and scalability. Some key advantages include Customizability, Ownership and Portability, SEO Capabilities, Content Management, Scalability, E-commerce & Control Over Hosting. This is why the migration was the perfect option for McKenna and Co. Solicitors.
Wix to WordPress Migration
Wix and WordPress are two very distinct web-building platforms each with its own advantages, catering to different user needs and skill levels. Wix is known for its straightforward, user-friendly interface. It’s a website builder that offers a quick way to create a website with a simple drag-and-drop editor. This convenience makes Wix a suitable choice for beginners or users who need to create a simple website quickly without a steep learning curve.
WordPress, on the other hand, is an open-source content management system (CMS). It offers a higher level of flexibility and customization. With WordPress, users have access to a vast array of themes and plugins, allowing for intricate customization and functionality that Wix cannot match. WordPress can be more technical and may have a steeper learning curve, but it provides greater control over every aspect of a website, from design to functionality, and is generally considered more robust for SEO. It’s particularly advantageous for those aiming to build a complex, unique, or scalable website, such as larger content sites or e-commerce platforms. For serious online business owners WordPress should be the answer each time.
